It’s official – I am now a Soccer Mom! Abby started soccer practice this week and (so far) she loves it! We had to go straight out to Dick’s Sporting Goods to buy her some cleats, PINK shin guards and a new ball (because everyone else had a new pretty ball at the first practice and hers was old and plain). I promise I didn’t match her clothes to her ball – she did that herself. Sheesh… girly-girls!
And NO, I WILL NOT be getting a soccer ball sticker for my van. Hey, you gotta draw the line somewhere!
How about a soccer tattoo?
She is so cute and so proud! I love little kid soccer, they’re all vying for the ball, knocking each other down, twirling in the goal. It’s great!
Now that’s something I hadn’t thought about. LOL!
Oh my God. Soccer?!!! My son is 5 and my daughter is almost 4. We’ll be in those shoes… dare I say “soccer shoes” pretty soon, too.
I’m actually kind of excited. I wasn’t into sports, so it’ll be fun to see the rugrats all dressed up and having fun.
I found you through my BabyCenter blog. You posted a while back. Thanks and have a great day!
I’m the same way… I was never “made” to do anything as a kid, so sports are new to me. Hey, I was a cheerleader in high school though! LOL!
Oh, please get the soccer ball sticker! Or tattoo… She’s too cute in her soccer getup. Now, get down here to Savannah, PRONTO!!!!!!!!!!!
