Ok, I’ve been keeping myself away from the computer for 2 whole weeks, but now I suffer in trying to pick the best-of-the-best to show/talk about. I’m going to try to summarize our Christmas holidays in 1 post with as few pictures as possible (not going to happen)… so here goes!
The weekend before Christmas we went to my Dad’s house and my Aunt’s house to see both sides of MY family. We had a great time and got to spend some quality time with them, but 6 hours is a long way to travel for the weekend… not to mention we had 2 little kids in the car with us. Fun fun. Anyway, here’s a cute picture of the girls and I with my Granny. Isn’t she cute?

While we were up there, we went to a cute little town called McAdenville that decorates for Christmas… the whole town. The traffic is always backed up for miles and miles. Here’s a picture out the front window of the car as we’re driving through the town…

Christmas Eve was fun at Nana and Papa Joe’s house. We all sat around and ate appetizers and drank cocktails, but around 8pm, we had to come home and get ready for Santa to come. The girls got to open 2 gifts each: 1 was their Christmas pajamas and one was their gift from each other. Here’s a cute one of them together right before bed writing a note for Santa.

Christmas morning was absolutely great! Abby got everything she asked for (except the puppy) and Maggie couldn’t let her baby dolls out of her sight.

Here’s one of Abby and Daddy playing Nintendogs on her new PINK DS.

They also got a playhouse tent from Santa and it’s still in the living room… they won’t let us take it out onto the back porch (which is where it is going to stay).

Abby liked it so much she had to sleep in it Christmas night. Patrick slept on the couch with her in the living room… so she wouldn’t be by herself. Funny little thing… she was so excited!

Well, that’s about it for the Christmas pictures. Yes, there are more, but I’m burned-out at the moment and want to get away from the computer. I’m sure I’ll have more to post in the upcoming days… as we get back into the swing of things – everyday life!
