Ok, this is me.
Well, maybe this picture (below) is a better picture of me. That’s the day we brought Maggie home from the hospital.
Anyway… notice my glasses? I’ve had them for over 5 years now. Yes, I’ve had eye exams, but just couldn’t find the money to buy both contact lenses AND new eyeglasses… until today! I had my annual (more like bi-annual) eye exam and splurged on new glasses! I’m so excited and can’t wait for them to be ready. Here is what I bought…
Aren’t they cute? in case you were wondering, the neon green is only on the inside of the frames. I can’t wait for them to be ready. Brent told me they should be back in 5 business days… so that would be… probably… Tuesday next week! Yippee! And the best part about it was that I only owed $40 out-of-pocket today. “How?”… I’ll tell you how… my insurance paid all but 20% and I got a 20% discount, so I owed $25 for the glasses and $15 for my co-pay. Ahhh, I’m such a bargain shopper… even when I don’t know it!
